A public body responsible for maintaining national monuments on behalf of the French Ministry of Culture and Communication, and for promoting them by offering guided historical tours and on-site events.guided tours enable you to discover the fortifications, underground passages and military buildings of the stronghold (arsenal, powder magazine, Philibert Delorme-style framework of a barracks), the reasons for its construction, and Vauban, the outstanding engineer who designed the plans for this new town in the century of the Sun King.

Closed exceptionally on January 1st and May 1st.
