To the north, we have the Alps, with their high peaks, the Ecrins National Park, with its luxuriant forests criss-crossed by tumultuous torrents, and the Dévoluy massif, our Dolomites with its great scree slopes.
To the south, Provence, with its cliffs, lakes and gorges where the water flows peacefully and invites you to swim.
The Gapençais is therefore ideally situated, on the border between Provence and the Alps, offering a wide variety of landscapes and benefiting from a Mediterranean climate, which has earned it the name of "gentle capital"!
